Carmel Wedding Rock

I have spent a lot of time at Carmel Wedding Rock and the more I do, the more I love it.

Here is a list of my top 5 things I love about Carmel Wedding Rock:

1. Accessibility: I love filming at Carmel Wedding Rock because it is super accessible to the amenities of town but you still feel like you are on the edge of the world. Also, the path is wide and well maintained and the ceremony spot is not far from the parking. Many of my weddings there have included grandparents and babies, so accessibility was very important.
2. The View: Carmel Wedding Rock is gorgeous because you can see Point Lobos, Carmel, the hills of Carmel Valley, and the beach below, all in one spot.
3. The Weather: No matter the season or weather, Carmel Wedding Rock is gorgeous. I have worked there in a foggy drizzle, in bright sun and wind. All were equally magical.
4. Location: Carmel Wedding Rock is five minutes from downtown Carmel, and five minutes to the Carmel Highlands. It is also a fun base because couples can cruise to Big Sur after and get onto the highway in two minutes.
5. Affordability: Couples can get a permit for around $200! You don’t need elaborate decorations because the view, the pelicans, the hills and the wildflowers do it all.
